life purpose excercise-live umazzing

One of the scariest things each one of us has to face at some point or another, is the question of. “What is my  purpose”, Why am I here”. This really is a powerful question to be asking and  is the best thing that could ever happen, because it really means you have come to a point in your life where you have realised that there is so much more than what you are currently doing.

You really have woken up from the dream that we call life and are approaching what I call, starting to live. Everywhere we go we see people going about life walking breathing and going through the motions of life, but not truly living.

The sad reality is that this state of unawareness was forced onto us throughout our lives. It started in childhood with the adults around us that unintentionally programmed a set of rules into our minds through constant repetition. We were programmed with a set of rules of how we should behave in society. We learned what is acceptable behaviour and what was not acceptable. We were taught what to believe and what not to believe. We were taught what is good and what is bad, what is beautiful and what is ugly.

When you started school your attention was grabbed by the teacher and more rules were fed to you and throughout life this happened over and over. The job that you chose and the way you are living was a direct result of what you had been programmed to believe. The decisions you made were in direct response to the set of rules and beliefs you were given. Continue reading »

mastermind success

On the journey of life and following a path of success, there is ultimately nothing more powerful than working with the power of a group that understands where you want to be in life and helps you move in a direction that propels you forward. These success groups also known as Mastermind groups were really made famous by the life changing book: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

But the truth is that the power of the Mastermind group has been around for millennia. So what is it that makes  being part of a Mastermind group so powerful and what I believe to be the ultimate fast forward to success and reaching massive goals.

To first understand why working in a mastermind group is so powerful we need to first realise that we are all already members of groups whether that be social, work, family, religious etc etc. So if we already have groups that we interact with on a continues basis- WHY be in a mastermind.

One simple reason and a very important success principle, which is: Continue reading »

goals

Most people at some point or another have had goals but when they failed to achieve them, they gave up on setting themselves Targets  to aim at. What many people have not yet realised is that through these “failures” we very often learn the biggest lessons. Imagine playing a game of darts and not having a dart board. It really would not matter where you aimed, because without a target there is no score and no direction. Giving yourself goals is like having a dart board it gives you a target to aim at and a way to keep score and track your success and adjustments that need to be made.

So here is a list of 7 key reasons why people fail to achieve their goals, and how to overcome this. Continue reading »

Why Do We Procrastinate

Why the heck do we go through the day performing low quality, low value, low income and low impact producing activities.

I do it, my friends do it. All of us do it. To really understand the key to overcoming procrastination we first have to understand why we do it in the first place. So the question is:

Why Do We Procrastinate

Well there are really only Two reasons we procrastinate, the first being. We have fallen into the habit and routine of filling our day with many low quality activities and have come to the miss guided idea and belief that by keeping the day busy and having a full schedule is the same as been productive.

And the second reason being that procrastination is happening at a subconscious level caused by some underlying insecurity. This could be the feeling of just not feeling smart enough to get the things we really after. The feeling that we are not good enough to even think about doing the things we know will improve our lives. The feeling of uncertainty of not knowing what the next step to take should be and my favourite, thinking we have to know everything and have everything perfect before we take action.
